About The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced US Recruiter with a background in Civil Engineering or Architecture to join our dynamic recruitment team. This role is pivotal in sourcing and onboarding skilled professionals for our US-based clients within the civil engineering and architectural domains. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the technical roles, skills, and terminologies associated with civil engineering and architecture, enabling them to effectively identify and engage suitable candidates. Working remotely from India, the recruiter will operate during night shifts aligned with US time zones, facilitating seamless communication and coordination with our US clients and candidates. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Proven experience in US recruitment, specifically for engineering or architectural roles, is essential. Candidates must demonstrate excellent knowledge of civil engineering and architectural job roles, skills, and industry-specific terminologies. Strong sourcing capabilities using various channels such as job boards, LinkedIn, and other talent platforms are required. Effective communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are vital for success in this role. Additionally, the ability to work night shifts to align with US business hours, along with being detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated, are critical attributes for this position.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include sourcing, screening, and shortlisting qualified candidates for US clients in the civil engineering and architecture sectors. The recruiter will coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth interview process. Managing the entire recruitment lifecycle—from posting jobs, screening resumes, conducting interviews, to coordinating offers—is integral to this role. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date recruitment records within Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools is essential for tracking candidate progress and reporting. Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients and candidates to understand their hiring needs and provide suitable matches is a key aspect of the job. The recruiter must ensure timely follow-up and maintain effective communication throughout the recruitment process. Staying informed about industry trends, market conditions, and talent availability in civil engineering and architecture is also vital for strategic sourcing and placement.
