At Recovery Unplugged, we are dedicated to providing long-term substance abuse and mental health treatment. With multiple locations across the country, we offer a cutting-edge, music-infused approach that blends evidence-based treatment with the healing power of music to help our clients thrive. We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated overnight Behavioral Health Technicians to join our team at our new Mental Health facility in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain open lines of communication with clients, building rapport and supporting individuals with behavioral or emotional issues.
- Enforce facility rules and ensure client safety and well-being.
- Complete all intake processes, including drug tests, searching of client belongings, and accurate documentation in KIPU.
- Manage client discharges, ensuring the safe return of personal items and proper completion of discharge paperwork in KIPU.
- Perform waived drug testing upon client intake and conduct random urine analysis (UA) checks as needed.
- Complete regular 15-minute safety checks to ensure a safe environment for clients.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility at all times.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support to clients on their recovery journey.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience in mental health or substance abuse treatment is preferred, but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clear valid driver’s license.
- Flexibility in schedule
- Basic knowledge of the 12-step model and the disease model of addiction is beneficial.
- Experience with KIPU EMR is a plus, but not required.
- A passion for helping others and making a positive impact in the lives of individuals struggling with mental health and addiction.
