As an IT hardware & Data Center Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, setting up, and maintaining robust infrastructure systems across physical and cloud environments. The role demands a deep understanding of Linux-based systems, networking, and data center operations. You'll support clients by troubleshooting issues, ensuring high availability, and implementing scalable solutions — all while being ready to travel to various locations across India.
Job Profile:
- Work on Linux based OS, Maintain Networks and Systems across multiple client locations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve production and technical issues at Application level.
- Design overall hardware architecture, network architectures tailored to Client needs including, security and policy frameworks with emphasis on cost optimisation and performance.
- Oversee Full lifecycle management of established Client data centers and disaster recovery centers with compliances.
- Set-up physical data centers and disaster recovery centers in alignment with clients architectural needs.
- Set up and maintain data centers in the cloud.
- Configure, maintain and monitor Firewall and security systems.
- Involve hands-on in Data Center setup operations including RAID configuration and storage management.
- Should have knowledge of different level of RAID configuration.
- Travel across India, to support clients on-site as needed, flexibility and ease to work from different locations.
Expected Skill Set:
- BE/BTech in CS/IT, MCA
- Certified in RHEL system administrator is a plus
- CCNA certified Will be a plus
- Have prior knowledge of Pacemaker and other clustering packages.
- Have prior knowledge of Software load balancers such as Kemp, Haproxy.
- Offline package management in RHEL, Centos
- Prior knowledge of High availability cluster formation.
- Hands on for a minimum of 50+ servers for installation and cluster formation.
- Should have knowledge of networking.
