We’re looking for a Product Designer to join Recentive’s core product and engineering team. In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end design of key Recentive products with a constant focus on delivering intuitive, elegant, and impactful experiences for our customers. You’ll collaborate closely across teams to ensure user needs, business goals, and technical constraints come together seamlessly. You believe great design is equal parts craft, empathy, and clarity—and you understand that your work doesn’t end—but is just beginning—once designs ship and meet real users.
- Storytelling Through Design:
At the end of the day, you understand that products are only as valuable as the experiences our customers have using them. You synthesize research, feedback, and business context into clear design solutions that guide users effortlessly through complex workflows. Once that’s done, you help the team understand why the design works—using artifacts, rationale, and shared language to align everyone around the user experience. - Designing with Intent:
You leave your ego at the door and don’t design for trends or visual novelty alone. You thoughtfully prioritize usability, accessibility, and clarity—making deliberate design decisions that solve real customer problems. You know our users tell us every day whether we’re on track through their engagement, adoption, and feedback. - Creating a Culture:
You understand the importance of transparency, ownership, and iteration in building best-in-class products. As an early member of this team, the way you design, critique, and collaborate will help set the standard for how we build products tomorrow. - Data-Informed Design Decisions:
Your design decisions are grounded in data and insight. From analyzing user behavior and journey friction to validating ideas through testing and iteration, you use both qualitative and quantitative inputs to guide your work. From early concepts to post-launch refinements, you stay closely connected to the real-world impact of what you design. - User-Driven:
You meet users where they are and deeply understand their pain points, workflows, and goals. User research isn’t a handoff—it’s central to your process. What you learn directly informs design direction and empowers the next wave of product development—and more importantly, what our customers can accomplish with our products.
Enabling Connectivity:
You work fluidly across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams, serving as a key connector between user needs and execution. You understand that truly impactful design happens when everyone shares a clear vision, aligned expectations, and open communication.
