Role Description This full-time, on-site role based in Erode involves working as a Rebar Detailer, Rebar Estimator, and Structural Steel Detailer. The role includes preparing accurate shop drawings for rebar and structural steel, interpreting architectural and structural plans, and coordinating details for fabrication and installation. Daily tasks involve estimating rebar quantities, reviewing project specifications, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. The team member will collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and project managers to resolve detailing issues and maintain clear documentation. Attention to detail, schedule awareness, and effective communication are essential to support timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Qualifications
- Ability to work with Rebar and Steel Detailing, including preparation of precise reinforcement and steel layout details.
- Proficiency in interpreting Architectural Drawings and Steel Structures to produce accurate shop drawings.
- Experience creating and reviewing Shop Drawings for fabrication, installation, and coordination.
- Familiarity with relevant design and detailing software (e.g., AutoCAD, CAD-based rebar/steel detailing tools).
- Strong understanding of construction and structural terminology, codes, and standards.
- Good analytical and numerical skills for estimation and quantity take-offs.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional project teams.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is preferred; relevant industry experience is highly valued.
