Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Rebar Detailer. The Rebar Detailer will prepare accurate rebar shop drawings based on structural and architectural plans, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and applicable codes. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting contract documents, coordinating with engineers, project managers, and fabricators, and resolving detailing issues and discrepancies. The role involves generating bar lists and placing drawings, performing quality checks on all deliverables, and updating documentation to reflect design changes. The Rebar Detailer will also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain project schedules and support efficient fabrication and installation.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Rebar detailing and Rebar placement, with ability to interpret reinforcement requirements accurately.
- Experience producing Shop Drawings for structural concrete elements and coordinating them with design documents.
- Ability to read and interpret Architectural Drawings and structural plans to ensure alignment of rebar design with overall building layouts.
10+ experience working wirh RebarCad.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and commitment to quality and accuracy in all drawings and documentation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment.
- Prior experience in construction, structural engineering, or detailing for concrete structures; relevant technical diploma or degree is beneficial. Já
