Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Rebar Detailer based in Noida. The Rebar Detailer will work on creating and reviewing detailed shop drawings for rebar and other steel structures. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting architectural drawings, performing rebar detailing, and ensuring alignment with project specifications. The role involves close collaboration with team members to produce precise and accurate outputs that meet client and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare rebar shop drawings and bar bending schedules using CAD RC.
- Interpret structural drawings and prepare reinforcement layouts for beams, slabs, columns, walls, and foundations.
- Ensure compliance with ACI, BS, IS codes, and specifically UK standards.
- Communicate effectively with engineers, project managers, and site teams to incorporate revisions and resolve detailing issues.
- Maintain drawing records, revisions, and provide as-built documentation.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / CAD RC software.
- Strong knowledge of rebar detailing and reinforcement practices.
- Exposure to UK codes and detailing standards.
- Excellent communication skills for coordination across teams.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dimensions and schedules.
- familiarity with international codes (ACI, BS, IS).
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in rebar detailing using CAD RC software.
- Experience in preparing bar bending schedules (BBS) and shop drawings.
- Prior exposure to UK projects preferred.
