Role Description The Rebar Detailer is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruchirappalli. This role involves preparing accurate rebar shop drawings and bar bending schedules based on structural and architectural plans. The Rebar Detailer will interpret engineer and architect specifications, coordinate with project teams to clarify design requirements, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes. Daily tasks include reviewing drawings for accuracy, resolving detailing issues, updating documentation, and supporting project timelines. The role also requires close collaboration with internal teams and, when needed, external stakeholders to support smooth project execution.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Rebar and Steel Detailing for concrete and steel structures.
- Candidates should possess experience working with Shop Drawings and Architectural Drawings.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Steel Structures and their detailing requirements.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in relevant detailing and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Rebar CAD, or similar tools).
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret engineering specifications, and good problem-solving skills.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams on-site.
- Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; prior experience in rebar detailing is highly beneficial.
