Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Rebar Checker. The Rebar Checker will be responsible for reviewing and verifying rebar detailing drawings and estimation plans for structural accuracy and compliance. Key responsibilities include ensuring alignment with standards, identifying discrepancies, coordinating with teams to resolve design issues, and preparing final draft reports for approval. The individual will need to uphold quality and ensure timelines are met effectively while collaborating with engineers and detailers.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in rebar detailing and strong knowledge of rebar standards and codes.
- Experience in reading and analyzing civil and structural drawings, and managing rebar estimation.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in design.
- Proficient in relevant software and tools like CAD, reinforcement detailing software, or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup while maintaining strong communication with engineering and detailing teams.
- Prior experience in civil or structural engineering projects is a plus.
- Educational qualifications in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
