Job Description:
As a Systems Administrator, you will be part of the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Help Desk team, which issues and maintains RSA, SIPR, and NIPR tokens. You will be responsible for issuing RSA tokens and providing metrics on these activities, and you may also perform basic troubleshooting for RSA Token requests, gather information regarding RSA Token problems for escalation to the next level, maintain, hand out, and take returns of RSA tokens from users at each distribution site, and interact effectively, courteously, and directly with the technical teams to accurately report technical issues. You may also read, write, and maintain standard operating procedures and technical documentation, produce and/or contribute to IT knowledge articles, and provide metrics on the distribution process and can transfer this and other related data to source systems for follow on processing.
The Level 0 System Administrator shall possess the following capabilities:
- Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and mainenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
- Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
- Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
- Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
- Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
- Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity, and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Expertise with Windows Operating Systems.
- Familiarity with CSPiD software, Internet Options, and PKI Trust Store configurations.
- Knowledge of 90Meter SCM, CIW Applications, and Active Client software.
- Proficiency with Remote Desktop sharing via Skype.
- Strong understanding of computer security principles.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and customer service skills.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of System Administrator experience.
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 4 years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree, for a total of 7 years.
