Role OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Video Conferencing Platform Developer to design, build, and optimize real-time audio-video communication systems. The role involves developing scalable, low-latency video conferencing solutions similar to Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop real-time video/audio communication systems using WebRTC and related technologies
- Build and maintain video conferencing features such as calling, screen sharing, recording, and chat
- Develop scalable backend systems for signaling, session management, and media routing
- Implement and optimize audio/video streaming pipelines using RTP, codecs (H.264, Opus, etc.)
- Architect and manage SFU/MCU-based video infrastructure for multiparty conferencing
- Integrate TURN/STUN servers for NAT traversal and network optimization
- Ensure low latency, high availability, and scalability of the platform
- Collaborate with frontend teams to deliver seamless user experience
- Implement security features like encryption, authentication, and access control
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to networking, media streaming, and performance
