Vacancy – Laboratory Technician (Ready Mix Concrete)
Location: Ludhiana, Punjab
Department: Quality Control (QC)
Positions: 2
Key Responsibilities
Test cement, aggregates, sand, water and admixtures as per QC procedures.
Perform sieve analysis, moisture content, silt content, specific gravity and water absorption tests.
Conduct slump, temperature and fresh concrete density tests.
Cast, cure and test concrete cubes for compressive strength.
Monitor aggregate grading and maintain quality records.
Prepare daily laboratory reports and maintain laboratory registers.
Ensure testing complies with applicable Indian Standards and approved mix designs.
Maintain laboratory equipment and calibration records.
Coordinate with production and plant operations to ensure concrete quality.
Follow laboratory safety practices and maintain good housekeeping.
Requirements
Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a Ready Mix Concrete laboratory preferred.
Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of concrete testing and MS Excel.
Immediate joiners will be preferred.
