About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated React Native Developer to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity at our Bengaluru office. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing and maintaining our production mobile application, which boasts over 100 screens, a custom design system, dual analytics pipelines, and a comprehensive Firebase backend integrated with REST APIs. As a key contributor, you will take ownership of features from conception to deployment, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient code. Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess 1-2+ years of professional experience in React Native development, with a proven track record of shipping production-ready mobile applications. A strong understanding of native mobile ecosystems, including familiarity with Xcode and Android Studio, is essential, along with the ability to write native code when necessary. Candidates should have solid experience working with Redux, state persistence, and real-time data management using Firestore listeners. Proficiency in TypeScript within large codebases is required, demonstrating your ability to handle complex projects.
Additionally, familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to enhance productivity, and the ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing startup environment, are highly valued. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive attitude, with the capacity to identify tasks independently and execute effectively without awaiting instructions.
Responsibilities
As a React Native Developer at CashBook, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications using React Native, TypeScript, and Expo packages.
- Implementing new features based on product requirements, ensuring they are scalable, performant, and user-friendly.
- Collaborating with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional components, utilizing custom component libraries and theming systems.
- Managing state effectively with Redux, redux-persist, and Jotai, ensuring real-time data synchronization with Firestore.
- Integrating third-party services such as payment gateways (CashFree), in-app purchases, and localization frameworks.
- Participating in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high standards of code quality and performance.
- Utilizing AI tools to streamline development workflows and enhance productivity.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of development processes, workflows, and documentation.
- Proactively identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to optimize app performance and user experience.
