Role Description This is a full-time, on-site React Native Developer role based in Bengaluru South. The React Native Developer will build and maintain mobile applications that integrate with Datman’s online solutions and backend services. Responsibilities include developing user interfaces in React Native, writing clean and reusable code, integrating APIs, and ensuring performance and responsiveness across devices. The role involves collaborating with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver new features, troubleshoot issues, and improve existing functionality. The developer will also participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience building applications with React Native and Redux.js.
- Hands-on experience in Front-End Development, focusing on responsive UI, component-based architecture, and performance optimization.
- Understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts, RESTful APIs, and data integration with mobile applications.
- Solid foundation in Software Development principles, including version control (Git), testing, debugging, and code documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience publishing and maintaining apps on Android and/or iOS app stores is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with agile development practices and basic knowledge of security and performance best practices for mobile applications.
Nice to Have Experience with NativeWind / Tailwind or Gluestack UI (or any design-system library) Experience shipping React Native Web / responsive cross-platform apps Worked with payments, fintech, or KYC flows Familiarity with react-hook-form + Zod, react-native-webview, or react-native-reanimated Push notifications, deep linking, i18n/localization Crash monitoring & analytics (Sentry, CleverTap, Microsoft Clarity) Secure storage (react-native-keychain, MMKV, AsyncStorage) Native build basics (CocoaPods, Gradle, signing) Soft Skills Writes readable, maintainable code and clear PR descriptions Communicates well in a collaborative, review-driven team Self-driven, asks good questions, and follows tasks to completion Attention to detail — especially important in a payments product
