About The Role
We are seeking a talented React Native Developer to join our team full-time at our Bengaluru office. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing and maintaining our production mobile app, which boasts over 100 screens, a custom design system, dual analytics pipelines, and a robust Firebase backend integrated with REST APIs. The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of ownership, taking feature requests from conception to deployment, including designing solutions, implementing code, and ensuring seamless end-to-end functionality. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values autonomy. Familiarity with modern workflows and AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to expedite development processes will be highly appreciated.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have 1-2+ years of professional experience in React Native development, with a proven track record of shipping production-grade mobile applications. A strong understanding of the native mobile ecosystem, including experience navigating Xcode and Android Studio, is essential. Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Redux, state persistence, and real-time data handling with Firestore listeners. Proficiency in TypeScript within large codebases, beyond simple applications, is required. Experience with AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude to enhance productivity is highly desirable. Additionally, familiarity with Firebase services, CI/CD pipelines, animations, localization, and payment gateway integrations will be considered advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality React Native applications aligned with project requirements.
- Translate feature requests into functional, scalable, and efficient code, ensuring quality and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Implement and optimize animations using Reanimated and Lottie for engaging UI interactions.
- Integrate third-party services such as Firebase, payment gateways (CashFree), and in-app purchase systems.
- Ensure app security through role-based access control and adherence to best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high standards of code quality.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate them into the development workflow to enhance app functionality and performance.
- Contribute to documentation and assist in the onboarding of new team members when necessary.
