Role Description
This is a remote internship opportunity for a React.js Intern at DigitalPopeye. The intern will collaborate with our development team to create, test, and maintain front-end web applications using React.js. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and efficient code, debugging application issues, implementing responsive designs, and ensuring seamless user experiences. The intern will receive mentorship and gain hands-on experience in developing web-based projects while adhering to best practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in React.js, JavaScript, and ES6+ concepts
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design principles
- Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and testing web applications
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and follow coding best practices
- Strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn new technologies quickly
- Preferred but not required: Knowledge of RESTful APIs and state management tools like Redux
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
