About the role

Reach University is an accredited, nonprofit institution reshaping higher education - one where a job leads to a degree, not the other way around. Through the Apprenticeship Degree, Reach transforms workplaces into university learning spaces, allowing working adults to earn credit for the work they do on the job and leverage deep learning through inquiry, dialogue, collaboration, and on-the-job practice in their everyday experience.

At Reach, we envision a world where everyone, everywhere can access fully job-embedded higher education - where effort and skill, not wealth or connections, determine who gets ahead. Reach is building pathways for professionals to grow their impact, advance their careers, and stay rooted in the communities they serve.

We’re building a world where higher education is both higher and within reach. Learn more at reach.edu

As an Admissions and Enrollment Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in engaging and inspiring future educators, especially in communities facing critical teacher shortages. Your focus will be on guiding prospective teacher candidates—many of whom already serve in select school systems—through the entire enrollment process, from exploring educational pathways to successfully enrolling at Reach University. You will build trust through consistent honesty, professionalism, and personalized support, ensuring that qualified individuals are equipped to pursue a college degree and ultimately become influential educators in their local communities.

Responsibilities

Tiered Candidate Engagement for Application and Enrollment Support

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with prospective and current teacher candidates through one-on-one meetings and group sessions via telephone and Zoom, with occasional in-person interactions as needed
  • Leverage tiered supports, particularly through technology, to provide scalable, high-quality service
  • Serve as a dedicated advisor, offering clear guidance and support to help candidates navigate the application and enrollment process.
  • Attract and respond to individuals interested in applying to Reach University by providing expert advice on academic pathways and enrollment requirements.
  • Assist candidates in collecting and submitting all necessary documents for academic acceptance and enrollment into Reach’s undergraduate programs, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance the student enrollment and communication experience, ensuring that every candidate receives timely and accurate information.
  • Represent Reach University with a positive and professional demeanor at all times, effectively communicating the institution’s mission and the opportunities available to future teachers.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships across departments to ensure a unified approach to recruitment and enrollment.

Reporting and Compliance

  • Produce and share timely, accurate reporting on admissions and enrollment metrics and candidate engagement to inform strategic decisions.
  • Adhere to all University policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines, ensuring a high standard of operational excellence.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall mission of reaching and inspiring future teachers.

About You

  • Radical Candor – Communicate with clarity, candor, curiosity, and kindness; share knowledge openly, and foster trust.
  • Operationalize Excellence – Optimize workflows, balance efficiency with impact, and ensure accountability without rigidity.
  • Model, Coach, Care – High support and high accountability, lead with integrity, model our values and capabilities, develop others through coaching, foster accountability and belonging, and ensure clarity in expectations.
  • Retention + Enrollment Focused – You recognize that enrollment success isn’t just about applications—it’s about getting candidates fully onboarded and thriving in the program.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities, drive process improvements, and scale enrollment operations.

Your Experience

  • Work-Based Learning Enrollment Expert – experience managing enrollment pipelines for employer-sponsored education, apprenticeships, or workforce development programs (Guild, 2U, ASU online, WGU, SNHU, corporate tuition programs, or other workforce training organizations) is highly preferred.
  • B2B2C Pipeline – You understand how to convert employer partnerships into active candidate pipelines and drive enrollment at scale.
