Company Overview
Divit MPS provides medical billing services to US medical practices. Our team works remotely with US healthcare data, so accurate revenue cycle performance and HIPAA-aligned operations are central to how we deliver for clients. We are looking for an RCM Manager to own end-to-end billing operations, build and lead the team that runs them, and serve as the primary point of contact for client revenue performance.
Position Summary
The RCM Manager is responsible for the day-to-day and strategic performance of Divit MPS’s revenue cycle operations, from charge entry and claim submission through payment posting, denial management, and A/R follow-up. The role combines operational leadership, team hiring and development, and client-facing meetings in which the manager reviews results, addresses issues, and identifies opportunities to improve collections.
Key Responsibilities
Client Meetings & Account Management
- Lead onboarding meetings to understand each practice’s specialty, payer mix, workflows, and goals.
- Conduct recurring performance reviews with clients; present KPIs, explain trends, and agree on action plans.
- Serve as escalation point for client concerns and translate operational data into clear recommendations.
RCM Operations Oversight
- Oversee charge capture, coding (CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS), claim submission, payment posting, denial management, and A/R follow-up.
- Monitor and report on KPIs: clean claim rate, first-pass acceptance, denial rate, days in A/R, net collection rate.
- Drive root-cause analysis on denials and rejections; implement corrective actions and payer-specific workflows.
- Run periodic coding audits and maintain documented SOPs; ensure all work follows US payer rules and HIPAA requirements.
Hiring, Training & Team Leadership
- Plan staffing needs, source candidates, and lead interviews and selection for billing, coding, and A/R roles.
- Onboard and train new team members; build training plans and competency checkpoints.
- Set goals, coach performance, manage productivity, and handle performance and attendance issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 6 + years of US medical billing / revenue cycle experience, including at least 4 years in a supervisory or management role.
- In-depth knowledge of the claim lifecycle, CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS coding, denial management, and payer rules (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid).
- Proven experience hiring, training, and managing billing or coding teams.
- Experience with practice management / EHR systems and clearinghouses; strong Excel and reporting skills.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
- Clear written and verbal English communication; comfortable presenting to US-based clients.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification such as CPC, CCS, CRCR, or CPMA (AAPC / AHIMA / ACA).
- Experience in a BPO, KPO, or offshore medical billing environment serving US practices.
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as athenahealth, Kareo/Tebra, eClinicalWorks, or AdvancedMD.
Key Attributes
- High ownership mindset: accountable for revenue results and team outcomes.
- Data-driven and organized, with a habit of documenting processes and tracking follow-through.
- Patient and direct in client conversations; able to explain complex billing issues in plain language.
- Calm and decisive under pressure, especially during cash-flow shortfalls or client escalations.
What Divit MPS Offers
- The opportunity to build and lead an RCM practice at a growing company.
- Direct exposure to US healthcare client relationships and revenue performance.
- Competitive compensation aligned with experience and billing leadership expertise.
