Position Purpose 

As a Data Engineer at RBL Bank, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining the bank's data infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure seamless data processing, integration, and transformation, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Position Responsibilities 

1. Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using SQL, Python, PySpark, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse/Data Warehouse, and Azure Databricks.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement efficient solutions.

3. Optimize data workflows to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability.

4. Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data integrity and consistency.

5. Troubleshoot and debug data-related issues in a timely manner.

6. Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience Requirement

Qualifications

Essential1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

2. Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with at least 3 years of experience in data engineering.

3. Expertise in SQL for data manipulation and querying.

4. Proficiency and strong experience with Python/PySpark for scripting, distributed data processing, and automation.

Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory for data integration and orchestration.

5. In-depth knowledge of Azure Synapse/Data Warehouse for data warehousing solutions.

6. Experience with Azure Databricks for big data analytics and machine learning pipelines.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
