Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics & TOK Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction across the MYP, IGCSE, and IBDP programs. The ideal candidate will possess deep content knowledge, an inquiry-based teaching approach, and the ability to inspire students to excel in math through engaging and relevant learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Planning and Delivery:
- Design and deliver effective math lessons aligned with MYP, IGCSE, and IBDP frameworks.
- Develop unit plans, assessments, and activities based on the IB philosophy and Cambridge standards.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Prepare students for external assessments, including eAssessments, IGCSE board exams, and IB Diploma exams.
Assessment and Reporting:
- Use formative and summative assessments to guide instruction and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.
- Participate in moderation and standardization of assessments.
- Prepare report cards and conduct parent-teacher conferences.
Classroom Management:
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Foster student inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Support students in developing academic confidence and mathematical thinking.
Professional Development:
- Engage in ongoing professional learning relevant to IB and Cambridge programs.
- Attend workshops, training sessions, and collaborative planning meetings.
- Stay updated with curriculum developments and best teaching practices.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary units and school events.
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and the school community.
- Contribute to the school’s academic and extracurricular programs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Mathematics or related field.
- Teaching certification or B.Ed. preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience teaching MYP, IGCSE, and/or IBDP Math & TOK.
- Prior experience with the IB and Cambridge curricula is essential.
- Strong IT skills for digital classroom delivery and assessment.

- Familiarity with ATL skills, CAS, and Extended Essay (for IBDP).
