Job Role : QA Tester (Forex Cards / Prepaid Travel Cards)
Role Summary
Functional QA tester with Payments domain experience, focused on Forex/Prepaid Travel Cards lifecycle testing, transaction flows, settlement and reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, integration and regression testing for Forex Card platforms and integrations.
- Validate multi-currency wallets, FX conversion logic, exchange rate application and markups.
- Test end-to-end lifecycle flows : issuance, load/reload, unload, block/unblock, expiry and closure.
- Validate cross-border POS/ATM transactions across authorization, clearing and settlement.
- Conduct API testing for integrations (payment gateway, core banking, card networks).
- Validate AML/KYC rules and monitoring scenarios relevant to prepaid/forex cards.
- Execute reconciliation testing (Host vs Switch vs Network vs Bank GL) and validate postings.
- Create test scenarios from BRD/FRD and regulatory requirements; support SIT/UAT execution.
- Manage defects end-to-end using JIRA/ALM/Azure DevOps and provide clear test evidence.
- Support production releases with sanity checks and post-release validation.
Must-have Skills
- SQL for data validation and reconciliation checks.
- Postman and/or Swagger for API testing.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and test management tools (JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps).
Preferred : ISO 8583, basic automation exposure (Selenium and/or API automation).
Experience
- 1 to 3 years of QA experience in Payments/Cards.
- Minimum 2 years in Forex/Prepaid/Travel Card testing.
- Hands-on SIT/UAT coordination experience.
Education : BBA, MBA or Engineer
