Our Mission

Private markets shape which companies get built and how innovation scales - yet origination still runs on manual workflows and fragmented tools. Raylu is building the AI sourcing engine for private markets, so every investor can see more of the market, qualify faster, and move first.

We’re not building generic AI. Raylu is purpose-built for Growth Equity, VC, and PE - already powering sourcing for leading funds with:
  • Real-time market maps aligned to your thesis
  • Standardized, enriched company signals and benchmarks
  • Deep contextual research on emerging companies
  • Automated, fund-voice outreach to founders and execs

What You Will Own

  • Help scale non-outbound sales channels — marketing, community, referrals, and thought leadership — to drive qualified pipeline
  • Own marketing efforts on campaigns, content, and experiments that convert top-of-funnel interest into live opportunities
  • Become a product expert across our entire platform and understand our competitive landscape
  • Support community-building efforts (events, webinars, roundtables, online communities) and turn engagement into meetings and pilots
  • Build and manage referral loops with customers, investors, and friends of Raylu to bring in warm, high-intent opportunities
  • Help craft and distribute thought leadership (posts, case studies, newsletters) that positions Raylu as the AI sourcing standard in private markets
  • Capture market and product feedback to influence GTM strategy and the product roadmap

Minimum requirements:
  • You have 2+ years of experience and have succeeded in high-growth teams (whether in tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related field)
  • Strong writing, research, and communication abilities
  • You want to learn fast and take ownership
  • You are comfortable using AI-driven workflows for research and personalization
  • Bonus: Familiarity with private markets (VC, growth equity, PE)

Logistics:
  • Compensation: $140K - $190K salary, $50K-100K equivalent in new hire equity (4 year vest) 
  • Location: New York City. We are a fully in-office team working out of Midtown Manhattan Monday through Friday. We allow for WFH days when anyone is traveling, but we do not allow for permanent remote work.
