Role Overview
To manage Raw Material Warehouse and Logistics operations, ensuring timely material receipt, storage,
inventory accuracy, production material availability and efficient transportation coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage RM receiving, unloading, storage, picking and issue to production.
- Ensure proper FIFO, material identification, bin management and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to the production line as per production plan.
- Manage warehouse manpower allocation, attendance, productivity and daily activities.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation with transporters and suppliers.
- Plan and monitor material movement, vehicle placement, dispatch and delivery schedules.
- Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery of materials to the required location.
- Coordinate with Purchase, PPC, Production, Quality and Transporters for material requirements and
- shortages.
- Ensure accurate ERP/SAP transactions and logistics documentation.
- Monitor transportation cost and support freight cost optimization.
- Maintain warehouse 5S, safety and housekeeping standards.
- Prepare stock, shortage, dispatch and logistics MIS reports.
- Support internal/external audits and ensure compliance with SOPs and company procedures.
Required Skills
- Diploma / Graduate in any relevant discipline.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in Warehouse and Logistics operations.
- Good knowledge of RM Warehouse & Logistics Operations.
- Experience in inventory control and manpower management.
- Knowledge of FIFO, material handling, transportation planning and documentation.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP.
- Good vendor/transporter coordination and communication skills.
- Good problem-solving and planning ability.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing, handling automotive components, RM warehouse operations
- and transportation coordination will be preferred
