Exploring the role

BCV, A RateGain Company is seeking dynamic and results-oriented Director-Sales. You will be responsible for driving new client leads, nurturing & growing relationships with existing clients, and owning & managing a portfolio of accounts. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for a top-performing sales closer who’s ready to own the West Coast.

You won’t just follow a GTM playbook-you’ll help write it, working side-by-side with the VP, to shape our West Coast strategy. If you are hungry to make an impact and grow into a leadership role, this is your runway.

How Your Day Will Look Like/Job Responsibility

  • Acquire and grow strategic multi-property accounts within your region, including hotel management companies of all sizes, high-value independent hotels, and flagged properties under major chains (e.g., Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG).
  • Develop strategic partnerships with complementary agencies (creative, media, PR, digital), hotel tech providers (booking engines, CRM platforms, management software), and Industry organizations (DMOs, OTAs, tourism boards) to drive referrals, integrated solutions, and market expansion.
  • Pursue cross-promotions and co-branding opportunities (e.g., joint marketing campaigns, event sponsorships, shared content) to build brand authority and drive inbound demand.
  • Represent BCV at industry events, conferences, and partner forums to strengthen visibility, industry influence, and new business generation.
  • As your region scales - Act as a player-coach by managing a personal sales pipeline while leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team through clear KPIs, deal strategy sessions, pipeline reviews, and ongoing enablement.
  • Lead the go-to-market strategy for the West Coast Accommodations segment, partnering with the VP to drive territory planning, vertical expansion, and new customer acquisition.
  • Develop deep subject matter expertise in hotel and resort operations, informing solution development, product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement efforts tailored to hospitality buyers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Client Success, Product, and Executive Leadership to align GTM initiatives, create impactful sales tools and content, and track market shifts and competitive trends.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and pipeline accuracy, lead forecasting and reporting for leadership, and recommend improvements to sales tools and systems to drive efficiency and deal conversion.

Education & Work Experience

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years selling marketing and digital services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, Communications or a related field.

Knowledge

  • Knowledgeable about the hospitality partner ecosystem, including creative and media agencies, hotel tech providers, DMOs, OTAs, and tourism boards

Skills

  • Drive new business growth across independent hotels, enterprise hotel chains, luxury brands, and major hotel management companies.
  • Manage and close high-value, six-figure deals by effectively engaging with C-level stakeholders across regions.
  • Lead and coach a high-performing sales team, establishing clear KPIs, conducting deal strategy sessions, and overseeing pipeline reviews.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies while aligning sales and marketing initiatives to drive measurable results.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed a $500K+ annual sales quota through strategic account development and territory planning.
  • Leverage expertise in digital marketing and B2B sales to position solutions tailored to the hospitality sector.
  • Oversee end-to-end sales pipeline management, recommend system improvements, and optimize sales processes for higher efficiency and conversion.
  • Sell BCV’s core solutions, including social media management, reputation management, and performance marketing, to hospitality clients.
  • Acquire and expand strategic relationships with multi-property hotel accounts, including both independent and branded properties.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with agencies, technology providers, and industry stakeholders to generate referrals and expand market reach.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce, ensuring CRM hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and effective sales reporting.
