About the role

IT Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and support company computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and networking equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, internet, and system-related issues for employees.
  • Set up and configure new employee workstations, email accounts, software access, and security permissions.
  • Manage and support Google Suite, admin console, Apple Business Manager, etc.
  • Assist with Monday.com administration, user setup, workflow troubleshooting, and process support.
  • Support cybersecurity efforts including password management, multi-factor authentication, antivirus protection, and employee security awareness.
  • Monitor and maintain company Wi-Fi, networking equipment, and internet reliability across locations.
  • Coordinate with third-party IT vendors and software providers when needed.
  • Maintain IT asset tracking and documentation for company equipment.
  • Assist with backup systems, data recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Support phone systems, cameras, and communication platforms.
  • Help improve operational efficiency through technology solutions and automation opportunities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive company information.
  • Assist leadership with IT-related projects, implementations, and process improvements.
  • Respond to urgent technical issues in a timely and professional manner.

IT Specialist Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2+ years of IT support experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based systems and business software platforms.
  • Ability to troubleshoot independently and solve problems quickly.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with cybersecurity best practices preferred.
  • Experience with Monday.com, Slack, SafetyCulture, or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Must maintain professionalism, discretion, and strong organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
