Key Responsibilities

Benefit Administration:
- Manage all employee benefit programs, including electronic benefits administration systems, EDI feeds, benefit interpretation, audits, renewals, new hire enrollments, open enrollment, payroll updates, COBRA administration, and annual CMS reporting and Medicare Part D notices, partnering with internal teams, brokers, and vendors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage the electronic benefit administration module within UKG and ensure enrollments and payroll deductions are accurate, including arrears from leaves of absence.
- As an employee FTE changes, ensure appropriate level of benefits, and communicate to employees as appropriate.
- Reconcile and verify the accuracy of all insurance bills monthly.
- Manage 403(b) Retirement plan administration.
- Manage all aspects of Tuition Reimbursement & Loan Forgiveness programs, coordinating with employee and leaders to ensure consistent administration and communication.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries, collaborating across HR and vendor partners to provide timely, accurate resolutions.
- Lead the annual employee wellness fair, partnering with vendors, HR colleagues, and internal stakeholders to promote employee engagement and well-being.

2.

New Employee Onboarding:
- Validate and maintain accurate employee information within the Human Resources Information System.
- Present employee benefits information during New Employee Orientation, ensuring clear understanding of available programs and enrollment processes.
- Complete Form I‑9 verification in compliance with employment eligibility requirements.

3.
|
Employee Leave Management:
- Manage all aspects of FMLA and personal leaves of absence including: employee and leadership communication, documentation, distribution, evaluation, recertification, usage & intermittent calls.
- Manage return to work from all leaves.
- Determine and map out potential pay components of each leave (disability, ESB, PTO, parental, maternity) and enter in timecard.
- Facilitation of short-term and long-term disability claims with vendor as appropriate.
- Partner with HR team on cases that intersect outside of a standard employee leave of absence.

Workflow and HRIS Coordination:
- Provide support and guidance to leadership related to internal position changes and employee transitions.
- Review and respond to employee payroll inquiries, including direct deposit setup, pay issue troubleshooting, and resolution of discrepancies.
- Ensure all new hires, terminations, and related business processes are accurately entered and processed timely within UKG.
- Monitor and respond promptly to inquiries submitted to the HR inbox.
- Track and maintain compliance with required certifications and licensure for all staff.
- Prepare and distribute periodic compliance reports to support monitoring and audit readiness.

Other Human Resources Responsibilities
- Maintains current knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and proactively initiates compliance-related actions.
- Ensures required federal and state labor law posters are accurate, current, and properly displayed.
- Assists with the development, review, implementation, and administration of human resources policies, processes, and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
