Applications are invited for the posts of Assistant Professor in various Departments of Rani Channamma University, Belagavi, Karnataka as mentioned below. 1) Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in the concerned/relevant/allied subject with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. For Candidates from Reserved Categories: Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in the concerned/relevant/allied subject with at least 50% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. NET/SLET/SET shall be the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professors. Provided, however, that candidates who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, or 2016, and their subsequent amendments from time to time, as the case may be, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET. 2) Emoluments: As per State Government norms and UGC Regulations in force. 3) Age Limit: The upper age limit is 45 years for the posts of Assistant Professor. Relaxation in upper age limit shall be as per the rules of the Government of Karnataka/UGC.
