You will design, build, and support new products, features, and upgrades that provide content and data services for our recruiting technology platform.
The Lead Service & Integrations team owns the integration backbone of our recruiting technology stack handling lead ingestion, lead export, ATS vendor integrations, and the job feed pipeline that connects scraped and API-sourced jobs to our job distribution platform. This role owns that platform end-to-end: production deployments, integration reliability, issue monitoring and triage, and the queue-based processing infrastructure that keeps it running. Keeping this platform up and healthy allows multiple other internal products to serve our client’s lead gen and hiring needs.
You’ll work across a Laravel/PHP codebase, a growing set of ATS vendor integrations (including Tenstreet, ADP, UKG Pro, RecruiterFlow, Paycom, and others), and a web scraping infrastructure. The work is high-ownership, high-visibility, and often requires you to be the person who figures out what’s technically possible and not just what’s already been done.
What You’ll Own
Internal Lead Servicing Platform

Production deployments and release management via CI/CD pipeline

Laravel Horizon queue monitoring and reliability (Redis-backed)

Lead ingestion, export, and export detail configuration logic

DB schema decisions across lead ingestion, export history, and status tracking tables

Error monitoring and triage for Lead Service issues

Data auditing for governance and account management needs
ATS Vendor Integrations
-
Maintaining and extending active integrations across multiple ATS vendors
-
Serving as the technical subject matter expert on integration capabilities & answering what’s possible with Vendors, answering questions for internal support and account teams to help maintain or acquire new business

Triaging referral code issues, routing logic, and export failures

Documenting integration patterns as new vendors are onboarded
Web Scraping Infrastructure

Managing web scrape workflows for ATS vendors that lack direct API access
-
Overseeing scraping credit usage and capacity planning
-
Maintaining the job family mapping function that standardizes scraped job categories
-
Mentoring junior team members on building and maintaining new scrapes
-
Make scraping more efficient and self-serviceable for support teams
Job Feed Pipeline

Owning the architecture connecting scraped and API-sourced jobs to our internal Job distribution platform

Managing XML feed generation and sync automation across integrated ATS vendors

Ensuring salary, requisition, hiring status, and job metadata pass through correctly across vendor feeds
Support & Triage

Serving as primary technical responder for lead export errors and integration support escalations

Coordinating with DevOps on database access, queue provisioning, and cloud storage permissions
Requirements
What You Bring
Required
-
5-8 years of professional software engineering experience
-
Strong PHP/Laravel & queues, Horizon, middleware, scheduled jobs, artisan commands
-
Comfort owning production systems: deployments, monitoring, on-call triage

Experience integrating with third-party APIs & ideally in HR tech, ATS, or similar

MySQL & schema design, query optimization, and relational data modeling

Ability to work independently with low supervision on ambiguous problems
Valued (Not Required)

Familiarity with web scraping tools and infrastructure

AWS experience: S3, IAM, RDS, SFTP

Redis and queue-based architecture experience

Experience in recruiting, staffing, or HR technology

Vue.js or other frontend framework experience

Comfortability with discovering and sharing new tools and technologies that improve your quality and ease of work
How Success Is Measured
In your first 90 days, we’d expect you to:

Own at least one production deployment of Lead Service end-to-end

Resolve an ATS integration support issue independently

Build or maintain at least one web scrape workflow

Document one undocumented system or integration that currently lives only in chat threads or institutional memory
-
Meet with direct and secondary peers to understand how their work and yours work together to serve our products and clients
What This Role Is Not
This is not a greenfield product role. The Lead Service is a mature, production-critical platform with real operational dependencies. The person in this role will spend meaningful time maintaining, debugging, and extending existing systems. If you thrive in that environment and take ownership seriously, this is a strong fit.

Education
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, web development, or equivalent experience.
Summary
The following compensation information is a good faith estimate and is provided in accordance with applicable state laws. The base salary generally ranges between $90,000/year - $130,000/year. This range is an estimate based on an applicant’s skills, experience, and training.
