Preferred Responsibilities

An experienced qualified gentleman with 3 year Diploma / Hotel Management Degree preferably work experience in a GM cadre in South region, age below 45 yrs. preferred. Job responsibilities include:

  • Directs and coordinates hotels activities to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations, and maximize full potential with a balanced focus on hotels mission, guests, employees and management satisfaction.
  • Lead the team of hotel HODs and Staff and responsible for administration, Monitor, maintains the progress and Furniture, Furnishings, and Equipment condition and provide status report to Vice President-Operations.
  • Managing the profitability of the hotel, overseeing revenue targets and creating budgets for individual departments.
  • Maintains public relations director and promotes the property within the hotel industry, local community and trade associations.
  • Assigns duties to HOD's and observes performance to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating procedures.
  • Builds strong working relationships and communications with hotel staff, HOD's and other units and group companies to ensure maximum operating effectiveness and fulfilment of special event need.
  • Monitor the Guest feedback on Trip advisor and other OTAs.
  • Receives and resolved in resolving guest complaints and service recovery process.
  • Provides training to staff and HOD's based on case studies / incidents that happens to upkeep the skillset.
  • Selects or assist in the selection of hotel personnel and completes all new hire
  • Review employee performance and conducts personnel review and disciplinary actions as and when required.
  • Ensures the objectives and goals of property, work together to achieve brand positioning and success.
  • Ensure full compliance to Hotel operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures and service standards.
