About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Threat Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. The candidate will help monitor, detect, analyze, and report on emerging threats and vulnerabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to build hands-on experience in threat intelligence, SOC operations, and real-time defense techniques. Key Responsibilities: Monitor cybersecurity news, dark web forums, and threat feeds for emerging threats and indicators of compromise (IOCs). Analyze malware behavior, phishing campaigns, and threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). Correlate security events and alerts from SIEM/SOC tools and escalate significant findings. Assist in tracking and documenting vulnerabilities, exploits, and attack trends. Support in generating daily/weekly threat intelligence reports. Maintain and update threat intelligence repositories and indicators. Collaborate with SOC and incident response teams during investigations. Participate in red/blue team exercises, threat modeling, or attack simulations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. Basic understanding of common cyber threats (e.g., phishing, malware, ransomware, APTs). Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework, OWASP Top 10, and CVE databases. Basic knowledge of networking, system logs, and SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Wazuh, Elastic). Ability to research, analyze, and communicate complex threats clearly. Curiosity, willingness to learn, and a security-first mindset. Familiarity with threat intelligence tools (VirusTotal, Shodan, MISP, Anomali). Certifications Preferred.
