About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bid Manager to join our Global Services division. The Bid Manager will play a critical role in managing and coordinating bid activities across multiple Business Units (BUs), including Cloud, RAN (Radio Access Network), and OSS (Operations Support Systems), as well as collaborating with Services Pricing teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecom software, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work closely with System Integrators (SIs) to develop winning proposals. Additionally, the Bid Manager will be responsible for writing, negotiating, and managing contracts to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: 1.Bid Coordination and Management: - Lead end-to-end bid management processes for telecom software opportunities, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions. - Collaborate with Cloud, RAN, and OSS Business Units to gather technical inputs, align on solution offerings, and ensure consistency in bid responses. - Work closely with the Delivery & Services Pricing teams to develop competitive and accurate pricing models. 2. Stakeholder Collaboration: - Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including System Integrators (SIs), partners, and cross-functional teams. - Facilitate bid strategy meetings, ensuring alignment on win themes, value propositions, and differentiators. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive collaboration and ensure successful bid outcomes. - Act as the single point of contact for Sales teams 3. Proposal Development: - Write, review, and edit bid documents, ensuring clarity, compliance, and alignment with customer requirements. - Develop compelling value propositions and tailor proposals to address customer needs and pain points. - Ensure all proposals are submitted on time and meet quality standards. 4. Contract Management: - Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with customers and partners, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements. - Manage contract lifecycle, including amendments, extensions, and renewals. - Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with agreed terms and conditions, SLAs and KPIs 5. Risk Management: - Identify potential risks in bids and contracts and develop mitigation strategies. - Ensure all bids and contracts adhere to regulatory and compliance standards. 6. Continuous Improvement: - Analyze bid outcomes and identify areas for improvement in processes, tools, and templates. - Share best practices and lessons learned with the team to enhance future bid performance.
