Research Scientist / Research Associate

Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for the following post on contract basis at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. Post: Research Scientist / Research Associate Essential Qualifications: - Ph.D in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics or M.Sc in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics with minimum 2 years of post-qualification research experience. - Strong background in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Bioinformatics or related disciplines. Desirable Qualifications: - Experience in scientific writing, data analysis and handling high throughput technologies. - Ability to work independently and as a team. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. Nature of Work: The selected candidate will be involved in various ongoing research projects at RGCB. Duration: The post is purely on contract basis for a period of 2 years with a possibility of extension based on performance and requirement. Emoluments: Consolidated pay of Rs. 35,000/- to Rs. 60,000/- per month depending on the qualifications and experience of the candidate. Age Limit: 45 years as on the last date of application.
