Assistant Station Master (ASM)

The engagement of Assistant Station Master (ASM) will be on Contract basis for a period of 2 (two) years. The contract can be extended further based on assessment of performance. The candidate selected for the post of Assistant Station Master (ASM) shall perform the following duties and responsibilities: 1. Maintain station and accounts records. 2. Maintain punctuality of trains. 3. Issue of proper caution orders and other safety related duties. 4. Ensure proper signaling, pointsman duties. 5. Ensure smooth operation of trains. 6. Perform other duties as assigned by the Railway authorities from time to time. The candidate should have the following Qualification and Experience: 1. 10+2 (Intermediate) or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University. 2. Proficiency in handling computer operations and MS office. 3. Minimum one year's experience in similar capacity or a supervisory grade in any industry/commercial establishment.
