Key Responsibilities:
- Operate radiographic equipment such as X-ray, CT, MRI, and other imaging systems to produce diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
- Follow prescribed imaging protocols and physician instructions to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Ensure radiation safety standards and infection control procedures are strictly followed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Check and maintain imaging equipment to ensure proper functioning and report technical issues when required.
- Assist radiologists and physicians during specialized imaging procedures.
- Educate patients about procedures and address any concerns before imaging.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory guidelines, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma in Radiography
- BSc Radiography
- DMRT
- DMRIT (Diploma in Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology)
