Role :
Combines clinical imaging with strict radiation compliance. Candidates are expected to hold AERB/ELORA certifications and manage both radiopharmaceutical administration and facility safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnostic Imaging:
Perform and assist in complex scans including PET-CT, Gamma Camera procedures, and Gallium studies.
Radiopharmacy : Prepare, handle, and administer radiopharmaceuticals strictly according to clinical protocols.
Radiation Safety (RSO duties): Ensure full compliance with AERB guidelines, track staff radiation exposure levels, and maintain meticulous records of dosages.
Equipment & Patient Care: Monitor patients during procedures, operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, and perform routine quality control calibrations.
Qualification:
Diploma or Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology (B.Sc. OR M.SC in Nuclear Medicine). Licensure: Mandatory valid AERB (Atomic Energy Regulatory Board) or ELORA registration. With RSO-II
Experience: Typically requires 1-2 years of hands-on hospital or diagnostic experience.
