Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) cum Medical Physicist
Location: Command Hospital Air Force, Bengaluru
Contract Duration: 12 Months (Extendable up to 24 Months)
Salary: ₹1,00,000+ per month
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with AERB radiation safety regulations and guidelines.
- Perform quality assurance (QA), dose calculations, and treatment planning for radiotherapy procedures.
- Manage radiation safety records and e-LORA registrations.
- Support Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy departments in patient treatment and safety.
- Handle radioactive isotope procedures including I-131 and Sm-153 therapies.
- Issue and monitor TLD badges for radiation professionals.
- Conduct radiation safety awareness and training sessions.
- Attend emergency patient cases whenever required.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Eligibility
- Qualified Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) registered/eligible under AERB guidelines.
- Experience in Radiotherapy and/or Nuclear Medicine preferred.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols, treatment planning, and quality assurance.
Working Hours
- Monday to Saturday
- 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM
- Sundays and National Holidays Off
