About the role

The Software Engineer in Test Intern will be responsible for assisting in designing, developing, and executing automated and manual tests to ensure the quality of our software products. The successful candidate will work closely with the development team to identify defects, report issues, and ensure timely resolution of defects. General knowledge of all areas listed below is critical. While expertise in each area is not required for the role, an understanding of how the following technologies work together is important. Understanding of software development and testing methodologies Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, Typescript or C# Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Robot, JUnit Knowledge of software testing techniques such as unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing Excellent communication skills to document and report defects and issues to the development team Understanding of software version control using tools such as Git or SVN
