Rackspace Technology's Private Cloud (PVC) Engineering team seeks a Software Developer III specializing in Windows PowerShell automation. This full-stack role requires 5-7 years of technical engineering and automation experience, with at least 3+ years in automation engineering for server deployment, diagnostics, and remediation. Responsibilities include leading the development and implementation of system enhancements, building and supporting automations for customer devices, creating testing plans, designing and developing automation scripts (PowerShell, Python), collaborating with engineers and administrators, and providing operational application support. The ideal candidate possesses advanced PowerShell and Pester knowledge, strong CI/CD pipeline experience, and expertise in network fundamentals, DNS, TCP/IP, Docker, and Ansible/Terraform. They will contribute to improving automation capabilities, performance, and reliability for both internal systems and customer-facing solutions.
