About the role

Job Summary: Rackspace is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cloud Engineer. We're currently migrating a new customer up into a multicloud environment. This is truly a greenfield project where you'll be the technical expert in cloud Infrastructure Support, overseeing various aspects of network architecture, information security, IT system Administration and Tools, and DevOps processes. Work Location: US Remote Key Responsibilities: Play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the technical, peripheral, and management aspects of our cloud infrastructure and DevOps requirements. Identify and address product bugs, deficiencies, and performance bottlenecks. Work with customers engineering teams on a wide variety of projects. Implement automation/DevOps best practices for CI/CD, IaC, Containerization, etc. Perform Linux/Windows administration, automated deployments, scripting (Bash/PowerShell/Python). Collaborate with fellow Rackers and customer key stakeholders to deliver projects, such as implementing Cloud-based technical architectures, executing migrations, and optimizing applications that enable business objectives. Serve as a technical advisor and perform troubleshooting to resolve technical challenges for customers.
