Production Leader (3rd shift)

Description

POSITION SUMMARY:  Plan, organize, and establish a recommendation for manufacturing strategies. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

· Expedite workflow by ensuring procedures are being followed

· Give oral and written instructions to employees.

· Examine work to ensure policies and procedures are followed. 

· Identify and streamline procedures to improve efficiency

· Assist employees with process issues.

· Work with Managers on continuous improvement projects to ensure efficiency.

· Trouble shoot errors

· Supervise the manufacturing process to outline bottlenecks.

Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

Experience

· 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area

· Knowledge of machine setup up, operating experience and computers 

· Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
