Role Responsibilities
Assist in the development and optimization of SQL databases.
Write, test, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
Collaborate with the development team to design data models and schemas.
Analyze and troubleshoot database issues to ensure optimal performance.
Support data migration and integration processes.
Participate in code reviews and contribute towards improving code quality.
Document database design and maintenance procedures.
Perform routine maintenance and monitoring of database performance.
Assist in the implementation of data security measures.
Work with other departments to understand data needs and requirements.
Contribute to the preparation of data reports for management.
Learn and implement best practices in SQL development.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends in database technologies.
Provide support during testing and deployment phases of projects.
Work on assigned projects with guidance from senior developers.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts.
Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data manipulation.
Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Understanding of data privacy principles is an advantage.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java is a bonus.
