Role: R&D Senior Manager – Embedded Software (RTOS)
Location: Bengaluru
Experience: 10+ years
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead embedded software engineering team
- Own architecture, design, and delivery of RTOS-based systems
- Drive implementation of control algorithms
- Ensure project execution, resource planning, and delivery timelines
- Hire, mentor, and develop engineering talent
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with ISO 62304, ISO 14971
- Build and enhance engineering capabilities, tools, and processes
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in Embedded Systems + RTOS
- Proficiency in C/C++ (mandatory)
- Experience in low-level debugging (logic analyzer, debug probes)
- Good understanding of hardware-software interface
- Experience in system design, testing, and validation
- Hands-on experience with SDLC
- Team management experience
Good to Have
- Medical device / Pharmaceutical/ Biotech/regulated industry experience
- Agile methodology
- Experience in setting up labs / infrastructure
- Exposure to controls algorithms
Education
- BE/B.Tech (CS/Electrical/Electronics)
- Master’s – Preferred
