In the fragrance segment, we cater to diverse categories such as hair care, fabric care, Cosmetics, Candle, Fine fragrances, personal care, personal wash, body care, home care and hygiene.
In the flavours, we cater to bakery, beverages, confectionery, oral care, dairy, seasonings, health and nutrition.
Key Responsibilities
- Development and optimization of microencapsulation Fragrances & Flavours Technologies for FMCG products. Process development, Project Management including emulsification, polymerization, in-situ encapsulation and spray drying.
- Prepare and evaluate formulations for oil loading, capsule size distribution, shell integrity, and controlled release performance.
- Support pilot-scale trials and bulk production, including reactor-based encapsulation and spray drying operations.
- Conduct sensory and performance evaluations of fragrances and encapsulated fragrances, including intensity, longevity, post-rub release, wash-off, and relevant consumer studies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support the preparation of technical data sheets, formulation summaries, and trial reports.
- Assist in routine laboratory activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and R&D protocols.
Technical Skills
Understanding of:
- Emulsion chemistry and emulsion polymerization
- Microencapsulation technologies (aminoplast, polyurethane, and acrylate-based capsule systems)
- Spray drying principles and operations
- Laboratory instruments and analytical techniques used in formulation and particle characterization
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-4 year of hands-on experience in microencapsulation and/or emulsion polymerization.
- Exposure to fragrance or consumer product applications will be an added advantage.
