Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an R&D Chef based in Hyderabad, where some work-from-home flexibility is offered. The R&D Chef will conceptualize and develop innovative recipes, test and improve food products, and ensure alignment with market trends and client requirements. Responsibilities also include sourcing and experimenting with ingredients, maintaining quality and safety standards, and collaborating with other team members to integrate new culinary concepts into operations. Additionally, the R&D Chef will participate in training staff to execute the developed recipes and ensure a seamless dining experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in culinary techniques, recipe development, and food presentation
- Strong knowledge of ingredient sourcing, flavor profiling, and food safety standards
- Creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to develop recipes aligned with market demands
- Excellent research skills to analyze trends and culinary advancements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Culinary Arts degree or equivalent qualifications preferred
- Familiarity with menu costing and optimization is a plus
