Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Research and Development (R&D) Food Technologist, located in Mysore. The R&D Food Technologist will be responsible for developing and enhancing food products, conducting sensory evaluations, ensuring quality control, and utilizing laboratory techniques to fine-tune product formulations. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to innovate, test, and refine food solutions that meet standard regulations and customer requirements. Additional responsibilities include maintaining compliance with food safety protocols and contributing to the company’s continuous improvement initiatives in the field of food technology.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Sensory Evaluation, with an ability to analyze and interpret sensory data effectively.
- Strong expertise in Food Technology, including knowledge of ingredient functionality and product formulation.
- Experience with Laboratory Skills, including handling equipment, conducting analyses, and following safety protocols.
- Background in Quality Control, ensuring that all food products meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Hands-on experience in Research and Development (R&D), focusing on product improvement and innovative food solutions.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Educational background in Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related field. A bachelor’s or master’s degree is preferred.
- Understanding of food safety standards, regulations, and certifications is a significant advantage.
