Your Opportunity, Your Team

  • The Sourcing Specialist in Culinary will work side by side with the Product Development Manager. This collaboration focuses on aligning product placement with the Sourcing factory base. The goal is to meet the customer demands of QVC and HSN by offering the highest quality product at the best value possible. This Specialist will assist in culinary gadgets, accessories, and tabletop.

Where You'll Work

  • This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at the West Chester office several days per month (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company). Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: PA, NJ, or DE. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in delivering briefs and directions to QVC/ HSN offices and suppliers directly to Sourcing Specialist and QA Direct Sourced support team..
  • Use market trends, buyer input, sales performance and customer metrics to elevate products developed to enhance margin and customer experience. Translate global trends into category specific impacts.
  • Participate in overseas buying trips and manage follow ups. Selectively attend trade shows and comp shop with PD Managers.
  • Negotiation of pricing, delivery and approval of product samples are primary tasks. Manage sample development process.
  • Through daily e-mail communication with our offices, agents, and direct suppliers, build strong relationships with our sourcing partners. This ensures proper implementation of QVC procedures, adherence to QVC T&A's, and proactive identification of issues that could impact the business.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree with Five years business experience in corporate buying or sourcing
  • Product development experience and knowledge across multiple home classifications
  • Ability to influence within and across enterprise complexity
  • Understanding of relevant design systems such as PLM
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
