Role Description
The Quotation Engineer will be responsible for preparing and managing accurate, competitive, and timely quotations for projects. This includes analyzing project specifications, collaborating with internal teams, liaising with clients and suppliers, preparing detailed cost estimations, and ensuring compliance with company standards. The Quotation Engineer will also oversee documentation, address customer inquiries, and help develop strategies for cost-effective solutions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in cost estimation, project analysis, and quotation management.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
- Experience in vendor negotiations, procurement processes, and competitive pricing strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Proficient in relevant software tools for costing, estimation, and reporting.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and time management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
- Experience in the building and construction or industrial sectors is highly desirable.
