Job Title: QPTM (Quorum Pipeline Transportation Management) – Data Conversion Analyst
Department: Information Technology
Engagement Type: Contract / Vendor Resource
Location: Remote
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled QPTM IT Data Conversion Analyst to support the implementation and migration of data into the Quorum Pipeline Transportation Management (QPTM) system.
This role is part of a technical delivery team that handles end-to-end data conversion, integration, validation, and reconciliation, ensuring smooth system implementation and accurate downstream billing.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, integration teams, and the Quorum vendor to ensure data accuracy, system stability, and successful deployment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Conversion & Integration
- Convert legacy system data into QPTM data load templates
- Define and implement data mapping and transformation logic
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to validate conversion assumptions and scope
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with required formats and hierarchies
- Support integrations with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., GMAS, CIS, CC&B)
- Troubleshoot and resolve data load failures, missing data, and interface issues
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution
2. Application Support
- Provide technical and data support across SIT, UAT, and Production environments
- Support industrial and Out-of-Balance (OOB) billing processes
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies impacting billing cycles
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and reporting support
3. Incident & Issue Management
- Triage and resolve issues related to:
- Billing and reconciliation
- Data loads and batch processing
- Reporting discrepancies
- User access and authentication
- Escalate complex issues to internal IT teams or the Quorum vendor
- Provide clear status updates and root cause analysis (RCA)
4. Testing & Release Support
- Support SIT, UAT, mock runs, cutover, and hypercare phases
- Execute test cases and validate system fixes
- Assist in defect tracking and resolution
- Participate in Transition to Operations (TTO) activities
5. Access & Environment Management
- Manage user access requests in compliance with IT policies
- Coordinate across environments for smooth deployment and operations
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in:
- Data conversion/migration
- Data analysis / ETL support
- System implementation programs
- Experience creating data mapping and transformation documentation
- Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies (SIT, UAT, defect management)
Hands-on experience with.
- Data validation and reconciliation
- Batch processing and system integrations
- Incident and application support
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Experience with Quorum QPTM or similar midstream/pipeline systems
- Knowledge of pipeline transportation, imbalance processing, and industrial gas billing
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Utilities, Oil & Gas, or Energy sector
- Experience supporting SaaS applications in production environments
- Exposure to billing systems such as CC&B (Customer Care & Billing)
- Experience with month-end or billing cycle processes
