What You Will Do

• Shape the visual and user experience of our platform, ensuring every feature and page is a joy to use.
• Lead the adoption and evolution of design systems that ensure consistency, creativity, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product teams to understand business objectives and translate them into innovative design strategies.
• Continuously use data-driven insights and user feedback to iterate and improve design solutions, pushing for excellence in every project.
• Lead, inspire, and mentor an energetic team of designers, cultivating a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Empower your team to take ownership of their work while providing guidance and constructive feedback to help them grow.
• Foster open communication and collaboration across teams, including engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment in design decisions.
• Own the end-to-end design process, ensuring efficient workflows from ideation to execution while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Implement best practices and design systems that streamline work, enhance productivity, and encourage creativity.
• Advocate for user-centered design practices, ensuring that the user experience is always at the core of every decision.
• Stay on top of design trends, tools, and technologies, incorporating them into our process to keep Quizizz on the cutting edge of design innovation.

Who You Are

• 7+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of leading design teams.
• An impressive portfolio showcasing a mix of creative design and leadership experience, covering people, product & process.
• Deep understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, layout, and user experience best practices.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Passionate about education and creating meaningful experiences that impact millions of users worldwide.
