Role Description
The Quit Coach role at Zhians is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. As a Quit Coach, you will work one-on-one with individuals to guide their journey towards quitting smoking and fostering healthier habits. Your responsibilities include conducting personalized coaching sessions, tracking client progress, creating tailored habit change plans, monitoring behavior trends, and providing evidence-based strategies for quitting smoking. You will collaborate with the product and behavior science teams to enhance the effectiveness of our smoking reduction system.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills to guide individuals through behavior change processes.
- Understanding of behavior change principles and habit formation strategies.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to establish trust and motivate individuals.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate progress and adapt strategies as needed.
- Basic knowledge of health and wellness-related topics, particularly smoking cessation, is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and align with product development initiatives.
- Proficiency in English and Tamil is highly beneficial for effective client communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
